Faith doesn’t always begin as something bold or unshakable.
Sometimes, it starts small — with a quiet prayer, a hopeful thought, or a decision to trust God even when the path ahead feels uncertain. Jesus understood this deeply, which is why He used the mustard seed to describe faith.
Small, simple, and powerful.
In Scripture, Jesus tells us:
“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20
The mustard seed is one of the smallest seeds, yet it grows into something strong and lasting. Jesus wasn’t saying faith has to be big — He was reminding us that faith simply has to exist.
Faith doesn’t need to be perfect.
It doesn’t need to be loud.
It just needs to be planted.
There are seasons in life when faith feels easy — and others when it feels fragile.
The mustard seed reminds us that:
Faith can begin in uncertainty
Faith can grow slowly
Faith can take root even in difficult seasons
Growth doesn’t always happen overnight. Often, it happens quietly, unseen, and over time. But that doesn’t make it any less powerful.
At Scripts Apparel, we don’t choose symbols lightly.
The mustard seed represents the heart of our brand — faith that grows through everyday life. It reflects trust during uncertainty, hope during waiting, and belief even when answers aren’t clear.
We chose the mustard seed as a reminder that faith doesn’t need to be impressive to be real. It simply needs to be nurtured.
Wearing a mustard seed is more than a design choice — it’s a reminder.
A reminder to trust when things feel overwhelming.
A reminder that growth is happening, even when you can’t see it.
A reminder that God can do incredible things with even the smallest faith.
Sometimes, having that reminder close is exactly what we need.
Faith isn’t about having it all figured out.
It’s about choosing trust — again and again.
If your faith feels small today, know this: small faith can still move mountains. And when placed in God’s hands, even the smallest seed can grow into something beautiful.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” — Hebrews 11:1
